[Pkg-fonts-devel] RFP: Free Educative Handwritung Fonts

Hi again,

fontforge was only one piece of software having been used to create that
fonts - e.g. in order to check intersections etc. But no scripts or
other code have been used to be included as part of the build chain.

Eventually, we need to settle on the file format for the src pkg:

A. SFD (ascii format, fontforge native)
  + ascii
  + human readable
B. TTF
  - binary
+ might contain information that could get lost during build process
  + smaller
+ identical to Peter Wiegels originally published fonts.

As Peter Wiegel told me, there are further fonts for educative usage
(swiss school writing etc.) that might be worth being packaged in the
same bunch. But I would be glad if first steps could be made soon...

Cheers!
Ralf
