Here is the result of the testing on all packages beginning with ttf-
and otf-. I checked for obsolete conffiles after the following procedure:
 * install in stable
 * upgrade to lenny
 * list all obsolete conffiles
 * upgrade to unstable
 * check they are still here

I removed the files mentioned in
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=542897 (which is not
maintained by the team anyway).

Is keithp still active? ttf-bitstream-vera is superseded by ttf-dejavu
anyway...

Due to the number of bugs, I hesitate between declaring this a MBF (and
checking with debian-devel) or filing individual bugs. Most probably,
signaling it there would be enough. I can also send bugs if you think
it's better.

Remark that for the wrongly versionned packages, the new version should
be the version of the newly built package (to care for users that
installed packages with the wrong version). Please know also that the
wiki page on conffile management does not give scripts that do the right
thing in case of abort-upgrade, but apparently this is not important.
