There are OpenType and TrueType IPA fonts with the same name
(including extension). I don't think it is reasonable.

If it is really necessary to add ".ttf" extension for OpenType
IPA fonts, I think it is necessary to rename them, for example,
like "opentype-ipam.ttf".

Under a system installed OpenType and TrueType IPA fonts with
the same name (including extension), I don't know how one can
find exclusively OpneType IPA (or TrueType IPA) fonts.

Thanks for your reply.
