Unicode has included several changes to Ethiopic in several new
versions, including the most recent 6.0.0 release so supporting only
Unicode 3.0 doesn't inspire confidence.

That combined with the above makes it seem like these fonts are
abandoned upstream and thus might not be suitable for Debian. Please
talk to upstream and find out if they intend to continue to develop
the fonts into the future to support Unicode 6.0.0 and beyond.
Please run a recent fontlint over the fonts and report the results upstream.
New font package names should probably not use the ttf-foo convention
and definitely not both ttf- and -fonts conventions. I don't know
exactly what we decided the new convention should be, maybe moving to
what Fedora use would be a good idea.
