I don't know, I haven't touched anything in the sources provided by 
Thatcher Ulrich. I simply copied the information in LICENSE.txt into 
the debian/copyright file as demanded by Debian policy.

Please contact upstream, i.e. him, if you are unsatisfied with his 
integration of your changes into Tuffy.
