[Pkg-fonts-devel] (forw) Orphaned font packages

Is anyone thinking this is worth adopting the following packages?

They provide bitmapped fonts that were (IIRC) mostly used with X, back
in the 20th century, to display several non Latin languages.

I think that all these things are more or less obsolete by now (for
instance, I have none of the intlfonts-* packages on my system and I
can display any language we supprot in Debian.

So, I think that such packages should be dropped rather than adopted.

Hi Christian,
I'm currently reviewing all orphaned package (removing the obsolete
and trying to find maintainers for others).

A few months ago I already poked you about a font package, which
was then adopted into the Debian Fonts Team by you. There are
two more orphaned font packages: xfonts-cmex-big5p and intlfonts.

Should these be adopted by the Debian Fonts Team as well?

Cheers,
        Moritz
