Feel free to go ahead and use my patch if you like. The hard work
of finding the root of the problem has been done by tarzeau and pabs
anyway. I just got involved due to a sponsoring request by tarzeau for
ttf-junicode, and I don't consider myself part of the pkg-fonts team
and don't plan to get involved further. So in general I would prefer
to not do a maintainer upload myself.
