杜甫 



宰相祠堂何处寻？锦官城外柏森森。 

映阶碧草自春色，隔叶黄鹂空好音。 

三顾频烦天下计，两朝开济老臣心。 

出师未捷身先死，长使英雄泪满襟。

Where shall I seek the shrine of the famous Premier? 

Beyong the walls of Brocade city, 

where the cypress grow darkly. 

Green grass paints the steps 

with springs own colour, 

Golden orioles fill the leaves 

with their sweet idle notes. 



In three visits the Ruler pressed him 

to make a plan for government; 

Through two reigns the old statesmans heart 

supported and steadied the kingdom, 

But before his last campaign could succeed 

he passed away. 

Making brave men ever since 

shed tears.
