Well, upstream are keeping several unrelated fonts, as well as distro-specific
configuration, in the same directory, and tends to add and rename files
periodically, as well as keep obsolete files in place. Honestly I believe
keeping such a script up-to-date would be more work than simply creating the
.orig.tar.bz2 manually each time.

Yes, I have pretty much ruled that one out too. It seams the Droid authors are
doing it on the cheep for Google because they get to *sell* the font to
others. They are unlikely to be very interested in making it easier for others
to download the font for free...

I'm really only interested in Droid and DejaVu, and DejaVu are already managed
just fine by you guys (thanks btw), so I'm afraid not.
