[Pkg-fonts-devel] Initiating the switch to git for packages maintained in SVN

Yes, this is something I was wondering about.

We can of course upload to experimental which (I guess) would at least
update the links in the PTS.

On the other hand, if someone who wants to checkout the version of
fonts-arabeyes that is in unstable anbd then uses debcheckout, (s)he
will get the SVN checkout.....and that's fine because at the moment
the package was prepared, it was in SVN.

So, well, maybe should we just keep things as is in SVN and remove the
package in SVN once it is uploaded to unstable and transitioned to testing.
