Hello,
I have started packaging the font OpenDyslexic [1], which is designed to
increase readability for readers with dyslexia.
[1] http://dyslexicfonts.com/
This font has caught the interest of the accessibility team so I started
maintaining it within that initiative, but you may have interesting
advices too, so I am forwarding you the ITP.
I have created an initial version of the package:
http://tanguy.ortolo.eu/deb/opendyslexic/fonts-opendyslexic_20121111-1_all.deb
http://tanguy.ortolo.eu/deb/opendyslexic/fonts-opendyslexic_20121111-1.dsc
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-a11y/opendyslexic.git
git://git.debian.org/pkg-a11y/opendyslexic
The font is available in TrueType and OpenType formats, but I did not
find it useful to distribute both so it is currently a single package
with the OpenType version. That may not be a relevant choice thought;
the other two possibilities I identified are:
* providing both formats in the package fonts-opendyslexic;
* building two packages fonts-opendyslexic-otf and
fonts-opendyslexic-ttf, maybe both Provides'ing a virtual package
fonts-opendyslexic.
Any advice?
