Package: birdfont
Version: 0.37-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
Please update birdfont package build-dependency on valac to make it
easier to drop deprecated valac versions.
ie. You should simply be able to say valac (>= required.version)
If you in the future ever needs to depend on a version of valac that
has not yet been made the default, please specify your dependency the
other way around.
ie. valac (>= x.y) | valac-x.y
This will make sure the default valac version is preferred over a specific
version (and also make sure builds don't end up using a "random" valac
version based on what is actually installed in addition to build-dependencies).
