Well there isn't any policy, I do this because I generate changelog from
git dch command and do minimal editing.

Well there was a mistake in changelog, it was uploaded by non team
member last time so git was not updated. I noticed this when I started
working on this bug and updated changelog entry for -5 as unstable. So
-6 is the actual to be released version.

I guess this clarifies the doubt regarding prior-version in maintscript.
