This would be fine, I guess. But whatever you do, please prepare the
source package with the debian/create-orig-source script and document
your changes in debian/README.source.

A new fonts-android source package will also solve #733077, although not
all fonts from the Roboto tarball release are included in the Android
GIT repository.
