Frankly, I don't know.
Even if Medium and Black aren't present in the git, they're in the
actual deb package, so I don't know how they have been added to the
package source. Using the zip release will make the package version
linked to font version instead of android version?
If relevant, ArchLinux's AUR package uses the .zip as source and version number.
It will be also cool to add the serif variant of Roboto:
http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Roboto+Slab
but the only official source I found is Google font directory:
https://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/source/browse/apache/robotoslab/
that have usually not up-to-date versions.
But maybe it's better to wait for official integration in the Roboto
family sources (at the moment Slab seems an exclusive for Google
Keep).
