Couple of reasons

1. I'm more comfortable with CDBS
2. It has some tools which can be integrated to help with copyright file
   updating. I know about cme but it doesn't work properly with
   fontforge (Yes I already tried it).
3. Since no one else was active in maintaining the fontforge, it would
   be better to use what is more comfortable to packager than keep it
   unmaintained. (Before switch I did discuss with pabs on ##fonts on
   irc.freenode.net )

If any one else has problem with switching to CDBS and is ready to
maintain the package and update it properly in its current method then I
will step backward from maintenance and revert my changes back to what
it was original :-) (Infact I'll be happy because I don't have much time
but still want to bring fontforge in proper shape.)
