[Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#919721: fonts-firacode: looks broken on at least kitty and hexchat

upgrading fonts-firacode from 1.206-1 (testing) to 1.206+dfsg1-3
(unstable) makes programs using it look broken. I could verify this
issue on both kitty and hexchat. Reverting back to the version in
testing fixes the issue no both programs. See for example the kitty
screenshots attached.

I'm no font expert but it seems related to some vertical spacing.
