I looked at this briefly today.
Version 0.200 is blocked on https://github.com/daltonmaag/statmake
being packaged for Debian.
Version 0.201 adds a dependency on afdko which has not landed in
Debian yet. See https://bugs.debian.org/762252
I think it may be possible to temporarily revert the afdko dependency.
There may be other new required dependencies; I didn't look thoroughly at all.
The Debian Fonts team is small, so feel free to work on this bug if you want!
