I don't know. I had the impression that the debian font people are
not particularly interested in additional bitmap fonts for X11.
In any case, I would recommend to wait until version 2.0 is
finished. First, because the makefiles are substantially different,
second, because version 2.0 contains more sizes, and third, because
it also contains console versions of uw-ttyp0 (and I assume that
there is more interest in additional (large) bitmap fonts for the
console than in additional fonts for X11).

Unfortunately, I don't have time to work on uw-ttyp0 2.0 right
now. There are just a few things missing, but I expect that I don't
get to do it before summer.
