Sorry, I have almost no time to help with poppler rendering issues on
Debian Stable.

Could you try with Debian Testing (or Unstable) which has poppler
24.08 (August 2024)? You could use a virtual machine to not disrupt
your existing Debian Stable install. If the bug still exists there,
please report the issue upstream:
