Control: reassign -1 libsofthsm2 2.6.1-3
Control: affects -1 libpoppler-glib8t64 poppler-utils papers
[Note: There are open bugs about signing issues with Papers due to AppArmor profile problems { #1099688, #1120163 }; I'm setting the 'affects:' especially to make them aware this is a different but similar problem. With the fix herein, SoftHSM may be a useful debugging or test suite tool.]

Thank you Bastian; this is an excellent find! I've built your changes on my Trixie machine and it works great; no more crashes with pdfsig or Papers, and creating new signatures works as it should.
