Package: xdg-utils
Version: 1.1.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
the version 1.1.2 of xdg-open brought support for specific handling in LXQt, but
this is definitely buggy and tries to use pcmanfm (non-existing in most cases) for
opening files/URLs (https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/commit/?id=6387086e4938d568c2bab185632f60e1619b3f68).

These are related upstream bugs:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103146
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81674

There is also a discussion about this problem in LXQt upstream:
https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/1298

The proper solution for LXQt is as following:
https://github.com/luis-pereira/xdg-utils/commit/dbf58e9fd8c5e2089a13522d87d2e660e159b8e2

Please, include this patch into the xdg-utils package for debian, as
there seems to be noone willing solve the situation xdg-utils upstream.

Thank you.
