I looked by strace on the opened files and I guess that it just could
validate that the signature matches the PDF, but who signed it is maybe
uncertain.

$ faketime '2009-07-16 16:47:47' pdfsig SampleSignedPDFDocument.pdf
  - Signature Validation: Signature is Valid.
  - Certificate Validation: Unknown issue with Certificate or corrupted data.

Is there an example download known of a PDF that should be valid,
with the current nssdb from firefox?
