The current upstream version is now accountsservice 0.6.55. It's packaged in
Ubuntu (LP: #1789502).

In particular, GNOME Shell 3.34 doesn't offer the "fast user switching"
feature ("Switch User" in the system menu) unless accountsservice has the
accounts_accounts_get_has_multiple_users() method, which according to the
symbols file in Ubuntu was new in 0.6.50.
