I've just uploaded 0.6.55-2 which is supposed to fix this bug (we were
getting a lot of people hitting it in Ubuntu when doing an upgrade to
focal). Please give it a go and let me know if it doesn't work for you.
Upstream we were wondering whether some more protection would be needed.
