A new upstream version 2.13.96 is available.

Upstream says that "2.13.96 has some improvements around mutex lock",
so that it might fix bug 1006720 (though I could not find the cause
and could not reproduce the issue yet). Note that unless I have new
information, bug 1006720 could be closed at the same time as a new
release, even though the code hasn't changed much.
