Package: fontconfig-config
Version: 2.14.1-3
Severity: serious
Justification: causes FTBFS

Dear Maintainer,
See
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libreoffice&arch=amd64&ver=1%3A7.4.4-1&stamp=1673962775&raw=0:
[_RUN_____] VclTextTest::testSimpleText
./vcl/qa/cppunit/text.cxx:222:VclTextTest::testSimpleText
double equality assertion failed
- Expected: 42
- Actual : 37
- Delta : 4
Indeed that also happens when I build it locally (unfortunately the C++
autopkgtests had to be disabled in libreoffice, otherwise they would
have catched it, too)
Downgrading to 2.13.1-4.5 "fixes" it.
Since other distributions already *do* ship 2.14.1 I looked what they
had and I came around
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fontconfig/c/25e368d9d2888159b5eb9acf3839821a4fe81c40?branch=rawhide
Indeed, when I added that <test>...</test> into the already existing /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-sub-pixel-rgb.conf
the test passes.
Filing this as serious as it causes (autopkg)test failures. Which is bad
this late in the release cycle, especially for packages involved in
transitions like python3-defaults...
Regards,
Rene
