Hello All,
 additional info:
 server is
ipa-server.x86_64                     4.2.0-15.0.1.el7.centos.19    
 I never had this EM connecting Centos of Ubuntu clients to this server.
 I reinstalled freeipa-client and updated the test-laptop, and I'm trying to test this further.
 At the moment I'm gettting another EM:
 root at jvermeulen:/var/log/apt# ipa-client-install
This program will set up FreeIPA client.
Version 4.7.2

WARNING: conflicting time&date synchronization service 'ntp' will be disabled
in favor of chronyd

Configuration of chrony was changed by installer.
CalledProcessError(Command ['/bin/systemctl', 'restart', 'chronyd.service'] returned non-zero exit status 5: 'Failed to restart chronyd.service: Unit chronyd.service not found.\n')
The ipa-client-install command failed. See /var/log/ipaclient-install.log for more information
 So ipa-client seems to look for chronyd, while on this test system I seem to have to use chrony
 root at jvermeulen:/var/log/apt# systemctl status chronyd
Unit chronyd.service could not be found.

 Maybe I have to make another bug report for this other EM I get today.
 I have removed chrony and installed and enabled ntp, I stil get
 WARNING: conflicting time&date synchronization service 'ntp' will be disabled
in favor of chronyd
and end result is the same.
