   * What led up to the situation?

        Nothing, I just installed the package as I have done on all my Debian

        10 server

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or

     ineffective)?

        I've tried all sorts of config file variations, still doesn't start.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

        bind9 still won't start.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

        bind9 would start and use bind9-dyndb-ldap to query ldap for DNS.

Hi team, I just submitted a bug directly from my Debian 11 server using reportbug but it defaulted to using root at mail.datase.co.uk <mailto:root at mail.datase.co.uk> which is not a proper email address.

I just wanted to submit the report again but with my proper email address so you can ask me as many other details as you need and so that I can add that the only error I get is in /var/log/syslog and is as follows:
