[Pkg-freeradius-maintainers] Freeradius for Buster

Good evening,
due to some worries and future consideration: Is there a plan to package
freeradius for the buster release and maybe even for the stretch-backports?

Would be really helpful to get the 3.0.16 or even 3.0.17 release in stretch and
also being able to plan ahead to next release.

Maybe, if there is a lack of contribution, what would be needed to get freeraius
into buster? I have never done something like that before.
