I fixed this in samba quite some time (was #1064544), in debian samba
release 2:4.19.6+dfsg-2 (May 2024).

Please switch to build-depend: libwbclient-dev (>> 2:4.19.6+dfsg-2~)
instead of referring to samba-dev.
