Openal's #379862

Hello,

Reinhard, others, I saw this bug is not closed although it could be
easily be so, as there is a suggested workaround. If this bug was to
be closed also, openal would no longer have opened bugs ;-).

Reinhard, will you have time and/or will to fix this?
