Not sure. I kind of lost contact with the upstream. They already have an
rc1, but besides several fixes it contains nothing we could not live
without. I would rather wait for at least rc2 to properly integrate big
endian stuff.

Done already. Not sure if it helps, but at least it did not break
anything on i386. Feeling adventurous today, Alexander? :)
