Should this be just our own opinion, or should we rely on some external authority?  This is a general problem for all distributions, not just Debian.  Who else might have an interest in setting up a game rating system?

ESRB ratings are widely used and understood for commercial games.

The problem is, ESRB ratings are designed for the commercial game industry, so they're not really set up in a way that would work well for open source game developers.  But perhaps we could borrow their categories.
