Yes the current glest packages aren't what linux people expect. However
a linux specific package with CR instead of CR/LF line endings and all
the autoconf/jam cruft in the main dir however would look strange for
windows users. Making 2 source packages would mean extra work
and more coordination needed for the releases. I'd like to avoid that
at, my time for glest is limited so I think we should stay with the
current solution.
A README file for linux explaining what to do would with the source
package would probably improve the situation...
