 Oh, great! I hope you came up with a sensible solution for fixing
#345964 and are willing to teach upstream of the library about libtool?
This is the most severe problem with the library, really annoying and
will keep it out of the release if not addressed properly, left aside
future problems with future updates, too.

 I don't think that I'm good to co-maintain it, but I really want the
library in a good shape because qcake will depend on it, and hunting
after every openal change that might occur without any sane handling of
the library is just a horror.
