So far I've used debhelper for my packages, and I like it.  I haven't used
dpatch, but I think I prefer a readable .diff.gz.  Named patches are nice, but
only if you're not upstream yourself.  I somehow end up being upstream for my
packages.  I have really no idea what I think of cdbs.  I haven't felt
inclined to use it so far.
