I tried to do workarounds for upstream packaging for my polygen package,
but in the end people convinced me that it's best to just repackage
(even automatically) upstream's tarball in a .orig.tar.gz rather than
creating bad hacks.

People also suggested me to change the version slightly when
repackaging. Polygen now has versions like 1.0.6.ds1-3, which is split
as "upstream 1.0.6, debian source 1, debian version 3". The tarball is
polygen_1.0.6.ds1.orig.tar.gz

Ciao,

Enrico
