Cube for Debian?

One of my ideas is to try to catch game designers for Debian, not to use
packager resources for that, but attract all those guys (and gals) in high
school that are making game wads and quake maps and try to organize something
so that they could be productive for debian. I don't really think they're
against DFSG-compliant licenses, but maybe they just don't know them. Am I too
utopic or would it be a nice idea to calmly design how to achieve this?

Cube would be a nice reference game for a thing like that.
