It seems you lack accelerated graphics. Could you please run something
like: ``glxinfo|grep rendering'' to check the status of direct rendering
(DRI), which should tell you whether the accelerated mode is turned on?
If it is active, do other (accelerated) games/3D app work as expected?

I guess that you didn't try any other 3D-demanding games/app. ;)

I'm not a non-free user, but TTBOMK, fglrx is the name of ATI's
proprietary driver.

Since it looks like this `bug' is actually due to some misconfiguration,
and not a (serious) bug in the package, I'm lowering the severity to
`normal'. Feel free to bump it again in case Direct Rendering is
active.
