Hello,

Did you tried to use the sleep inducing command for the docking computer?
Did you try to activate both the sleep inducer and the docking (shift+d)?

I suspect you thought that you were supposed to wait for the whole sequence to
 take place in front of your eyes and it was long for your specific case :-)
