Bug#391952: nexuiz: Nexuiz always segfaults

hi armin,

there's a chance, this segfault is not a bug in nexuiz, but even in
your graphics driver. ("strange" behaviour in nexuiz is often caused by
buggy graphics drivers)

in the backtrace i noticed that you're running the r300 driver for your
video card. is it possible for you, and is your graphics board
compatible to ati's closed source driver 'fglrx'? if so, you should
give the fglrx driver a chance, perhaps you'll be more lucky.

if it's not possible for you, but maybe you've got an nvidia card
around you could give the nvidia card with nvidia's closed source
driver a try.

if you can make nexuiz run stable with one of the above suggestions,
it's very likely, that the r300 driver is buggy.

if none of the above suggestions aren't managable for you, we'll have
to go deeper into debugging ;)

cheers, fuddl
