1. I hope you do not intend to release an alpha version of the game
after the series of stable releases provided until now. If you do, I
highly object to this.

2. For prereleases, release candidates, alpha and beta releases there is
support from the Debian infrastructure. In order to mark such releases
one can use the "~" character which orders always before anything,
including the empty string.
