I am not against co-maintaining the package with you, if that is your
intention.

I am grateful for your support, but there are much more problematic
packages in team repository that could use some help from somebody
experienced like yourself.

I will request them to reject it. I only asked not to accept it, as I
though it is possible to overwrite the uploads. In my opinion, a clean
re-upload is our best bet.

P.S. The upstream tagged a new rc1 today, but it contains to much
experimental stuff to be considered for inclusion in Debian, at least in
my opinion. All the good stuff is already included in the patches, so we
are not missing anything.
