Thank you very much. I committed it.
There was a minor error in it (a \n too much and msgfmt complained,
I fixed it).
Could you also please provide a translation for the desktop file (icon
stuff):
GenericName=Logic Game
GenericName[de]=Logikspiel
GenericName[nl]=...
Comment=Puzzle game based on hexagonal tiles
Comment[de]=Puzzlespiel, basierend auf hexagonalen Platten
Comment[nl]=...
Helge provided also PO support for the manual page so I may contact you
soon again :-)

The upstream version doesn't contain gettext support. You can obtain the
current source from unstable and build it yourself after adding
debian/i18n/nl.po and nl to debian/i18n/languages.list:
# apt-get build-dep hex-a-hop
$ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -us -uc
# dpkg -i ../*.deb
You could also install version 0.0.20070315-3 from unstable and call
$ msgfmt -cv hex-a-hop-nl.po -o messages.mo
# cp messages.mo /usr/share/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES/hex-a-hop.mo

OK. I know it needs a lot of time and testing.

Right! I have it already working (at least for the help) and will
commit it today. After this the text has the proper width and the
background window will also fit. The SLD Pango library does make it very
easy but has a lot of errors I have to work around (to set the maximal
text width I have to call SDLPango_SetMinimumSize and so on :-).

Right. But I will maybe add a few \n\n to split paragraphs where
necessary in nl.po. I hope this is OK for you.
