OK, I found a solution. It's not perfect and uses sed but it's also not
too complicated and simplifies the translation definitely. Helge, can
you test it and update de.po? Thanks.

No, I will add a comment to the POT file (via hex-a-hop.pot.comments)
and merge the comment in all existing PO files.
