Btw, I have just checked and the patches _were_ sent base64-encoded.

64-bit processor, yes (AMD). I don't experience the crash, though. Are
you sure it's cpu-specific? It would be a bit uncommon...

*scratch head* Ok. I have taken a look at it, and I should hopefully
have something releasable after the weekend.
