I'm just about to upload new package to debians experimental
distribution; I don't we'll ship etch, the next stable release with
0.7.4, since we are allready in a feature freeze.  But the package for
experimental should run on etch, too, so you could download it and
install it by hand with dpkg.

I'm sorry, but I fear that's all we can do about it right now.
