Package: whichwayisup
Version: 0.7.0-1
Severity: normal

I "backported" your game to Etch and (after understanding the key
usage) like it. However, the game somehow wants to access my CD-ROM
drive, resulting in (/var/log/messages):
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: hda: packet command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: hda: packet command error: error=0x54 { AbortedCommand LastFailedSense=0x05 }
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: ATAPI device hda:
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: Error: Illegal request -- (Sense key=0x05)
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel:   "42 02 40 01 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 "
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: hda: packet command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: hda: packet command error: error=0x54 { AbortedCommand LastFailedSense=0x05 }
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: ATAPI device hda:
Jul 6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel: Error: Illegal request -- (Sense key=0x05)
Jul  6 19:33:22 remaxp kernel:   "42 02 40 01 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 "

Since it is running as normal user, this should cause no harm, but
nevertheless the game should not even attempt to read from CD ROM[1] (or
this should be configurable). At least a warning on the shell should
be printed.

The CD ROM is usually not mounted.

[1] As most Debian users won't have the appropriate CD ROM and the man
    page does not talk about a CD ROM at all, nor does any documentation
    in /usr/share/doc/whichwayisup
