Hi,

I have aptitude installed Frets on Fire but when I run the game I can 
only see a dark red screen with the menu music. Here is a screenshot :

I can navigate through the menus and even begin a game and exit the 
program using the direction keys... but of course without seeing 
anything it is completely useless.

I had the exactly same problem with the Windows version and I solved it 
by updating the graphic driver.

Right now I am using the free radeon driver for xorg and direct 
rendering is enabled. Can I help you by providing other informations ?
